Arooj Aftab

'Throughout these pieces, interpreted through the beautiful arrangements written for this outstanding orchestra, we witness Aftab's strength: her effortless ability to blend Western and Eastern cultural influences into a magnificent synergy of magical sounds.'

'A very unique, one of a kind project.'

'While many collaborations between an artist and an orchestra search for balance, here it seems to arise naturally. The orchestra does not serve as a backdrop, but as an extension of her own sound, a living entity that moves with her.'
