On Saturday 9 October 2027, Queen Must Go On will once again perform with the Metropole Orkest at Rotterdam Ahoy. The Nijmegen-based band won the first season of The Tribute: Battle of the Bands, played several sold-out theatre tours and has previously performed at Ziggo Dome and Ahoy. Their earlier collaboration with the orchestra, conducted by Tom Richards, is one many fans still remember. Reason enough for a repeat.
The audience can expect orchestral versions of songs including Innuendo, Barcelona, The Show Must Go On and Who Wants to Live Forever, along with well-known favourites such as Don’t Stop Me Now, Under Pressure, We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions. Bohemian Rhapsody will also be played, in a new orchestral arrangement. New compositions will be added to the show as well.
and contribute to educational projects and the preservation of Dutch heritage.
