Following the huge success of their previous Grammy-winning project Sylva, Snarky Puppy, Metropole Orkest and conductor Jules Buckley joined forces once again to record a brand-new album called ‘Somni’, released on Nov 21st 2025 via GroundUp Music.
Presenting the World Exclusive live premiere of the album, alongside Snarky Puppy favourites, arranged especially for the Metropole Orkest, two special concerts will take place in the Canary Islands on 6 and 7 February 2026, as part of the 42nd Festival Internacional de Musica de Canarias.
The show is an immersive musical journey, in which the intricate, groove-driven sound of Snarky Puppy merges with the rich, cinematic orchestrations of Metropole Orkest, under the visionary direction of Jules Buckley. The audience can expect to experience the latest chapter of the Snarky Puppy and Metropole Orkest story, penned by brand new work from bandleader and composer Michael League, performed live by this unique combination of world class musicians.
and contribute to educational projects and the preservation of Dutch heritage.
