The ‘match made in heaven’ known as Gregory Porter and the Metropole Orkest is getting a sequel. Together, we are coming to the iconic Olympisch Stadion for a summer evening full of jazz and soul.
After our first meeting in 2012, the now-legendary concert at Paradiso, the musical bond between Porter and the orchestra has only grown stronger. After a tour through Germany and concerts at both Koninklijk Theater Carré and the North Sea Jazz Festival, we are now bringing this special collaboration back to life again: this time in a spectacular open-air setting.
The audience will experience Porter’s repertoire in a new, dynamic form: from intimate, emotional passages to lush orchestral highlights. The combination of his warm, soulful voice with the rich, cinematic sound of the Metropole Orkest creates an unforgettable evening for lovers of jazz and soul.

Gregory Porter had his major breakthrough in the Netherlands with performances at the North Sea Jazz Festival and sold-out venues such as the Ziggo Dome and Koninklijk Theater Carré. For his 2014 and 2017 albums, he received multiple Grammy Awards, and in 2025 he was awarded the Edison Lifetime Achievement Award. His deep, soulful voice and timeless repertoire make him one of the most impressive jazz and soul artists of his generation.
