De Avond van de Filmmuziek returns with three spectacular concerts filled with iconic film music. Under the baton of conductor Jules Buckley, the Metropole Orkest joins forces with the Nederlands Concertkoor to bring the greatest film scores to life live on stage.
What once began as a single evening at Het Koninklijk Concertgebouw has since grown into a multi-day spectacle at the Ziggo Dome and one of Europe’s largest film-music events.
The program features the greatest film composers alongside homegrown talent. Previous editions have brought artists such as Lebo M (The Lion King), Steve Stevens (Top Gun), Anna Lapwood (Interstellar), Lavinia Meijer (Intouchables), Noa Wildschut (Schindler’s List), and Lakshmi (The Lord of the Rings) to the stage.
Who will take part in 2026 remains a surprise.
One thing is certain: this edition of De Avond van de Filmmuziek will be a show filled with epic music, intense moments, and goosebumps.
