Beach Boys’ Best and Metropole Orkest join forces for a special concert celebrating the timeless music of The Beach Boys. With arrangements written especially for this occasion, the band’s well-known songs take on a fresh, orchestral dimension without losing their original character.
The idea for this collaboration emerged from conversations between Beach Boys’ Best and the Metropole Orkest. From there, the desire grew to bring The Beach Boys’ repertoire to life in a new way. One source of inspiration was the successful album The Beach Boys With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, which enriched the iconic music of the American band with orchestral arrangements.
During this concert, beloved classics will be performed by Beach Boys’ Best band members Baggio, Pablo, Tim, Teun and Gijs, accompanied by the fifty-piece Metropole Orkest. Together, they present a programme celebrating the sunny harmonies, instantly recognisable melodies and rich musical heritage of The Beach Boys.
With new arrangements, a unique line-up and a shared passion for this music, this collaboration promises to be a memorable evening. A one-off concert celebrating the songs of The Beach Boys on a grand scale.
and contribute to educational projects and the preservation of Dutch heritage.
