In November 2025, the Metropole Orkest, conducted by Jules Buckley, will go on tour with one of the most unique voices in the music world: Arooj Aftab. The Pakistani-American singer and composer broke through with her Grammy-winning Mohabbat and bewitches with her mix of jazz and minimalism. Her music transcends genres and resonates on grand stages, from the North Sea Jazz Festival to intimate venues across the globe. We welcome her to DE SINGEL for the first time, where alongside the Metropole Orkest she will give her sound a new dimension. The rich orchestral sound elevates her melancholic melodies to a whole new level, without detracting from their emotional power.
