In Memoriam Ack van Rooyen (1930-2021)

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Ack van Rooyen. We are grateful for the inspiration he has brought to many generations of musicians and music lovers inside and outside the Metropole Orkest. In addition to his unsurpassed playing, his legacy continues to resonate in the music of his many students. We remember him with reverence.
