Arlette Westdorp appointed new Member of the Supervisory Board of the Metropole Orkest

As of 1 January 2026, Arlette Westdorp will join the Supervisory Board of the Metropole Orkest. Following the departure of Liesbeth Bijvoet, the Supervisory Board is once again at full strength and well positioned for the future.

Arlette Westdorp brings extensive experience in finance, supervision, and business operations and is a valuable addition to our Supervisory Board team. We are delighted that Arlette is joining our board and look forward to working with her. I would also like to sincerely thank Liesbeth Bijvoet for her commitment and contributions to the Metropole Orkest over the past eight years.

Arlette Westdorp:

Arlette Westdorp
Arlette Westdorp (1987) has extensive experience in supervision, risk management, and governance within the financial sector. She is Head of the Resolution and Deposit Guarantee Scheme (DGS) Department at De Nederlandsche Bank and also serves as Head of Risk Management. Internationally, she has worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and conducted investigations at banks in the Netherlands and France. She is a member of the Investment Committee of De Nederlandsche Bank. Arlette studied Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam. As a fan of pop, soul, hip-hop, and film music, she is eager to apply her governance and financial expertise to the Metropole Orkest.
