Off to London for the BBC Proms

After having played a matinee in the Concertgebouw, the Metropole Orkest rushed to Schiphol Airport to fly to London for the BBC Proms.

The Metropole Orkest is to perform Prom 45 on Tuesday with Laura Mvula playing music from the newly released album ‘Laura Mvula with Metropole Orkest conducted by Jules Buckley’ recorded earlier this year at Abbey Road Studios. Special guest at the concert is bassist/singer Esperanza Spalding.

Tune in to BBC Radio 3 at 10.15 PM (GMT) to listen to a live broadcast of the concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
