Peter Tiehuis

Peter started with classical guitar classes when he was 9 years old. He started playing in rock-and-roll bands when he turned 12, followed by classical guitar studies with Rob Koenders in Enschede. He studied Jazz with Peter Niewerf in The Hague; after that he became a professional freelancer and started playing in the Metropole Orkest.
His musical heroes are Pat Metheny, John Schofield, Herbie Hancock, Marice White and Ravel.
His passion next to music is electronics (especially the electric guitar); he builds amplifiers and pedals. Next to that he is interested in philosophy.
